Head of HR – Pattern Generators Division – with broad HR experience from engineering organizations with international presence

You will have the HR responsibility for the Pattern Generators (PG) Division.
Division Pattern Generators is a leading supplier of laser-based mask writers for the display and semiconductor industries. Mycronic’s mask writers contribute the majority part to produce 3.9 billion displays every year and support the increasing demand for semiconductors.
The PG Division has the head quarter in Sweden and serves customers in Japan, China, South Korea, Taiwan, Europe and the US and currently has about 400 employees with ~70% located in Täby, Sweden.
About the Position

As Head of HR for Division Pattern Generators, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the division’s people agenda, ensuring it aligns with our ambitious business strategy. This role is a unique opportunity to influence both strategic direction and operational excellence, making a tangible difference in a cutting-edge, technology-driven company.
As part of both the Division Management Team and the Mycronic Group HR Management Team, you’ll be at the heart of decision-making, working closely with leaders across the organization. You’ll lead a direct report and provide guidance to HR professionals in Japan and Korea (dotted-line reporting), fostering collaboration across functions, global HR teams, and subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive People Strategy – Align HR initiatives with business goals and strategy.
- Lead Talent & Leadership Growth – Oversee and influence recruitment, succession, leadership development and talent management.
- Foster Culture & Engagement – Strengthen employee experience and company culture.
- Advise Senior Management – Provide strategic HR support and guidance.
- Lead Change & Innovation – Driving change initiatives to support innovation and People & Culture development.
- Ensure Compliance – Oversee implementation of policies, processes, and labor law adherence.
Qualifications
You are a collaborative and strategic HR leader with a positive mindset, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment. You excel at building relationships, driving change, and aligning HR with business success.
You also bring:
- Extensive HR expertise in international, engineering-driven matrix organizations, ideally with experience in Asia.
- Previous leadership skills, including experience in management teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
- A strong educational foundation, with a bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
- Fluency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.
